Actually, there kind of is. Motorcycle dealers typically tire shine the whole tire, which puts a greasy coating over it.

That’s not a tire problem though, that’s a dealer problem. Tires don’t have anything that needs to be scrubbed off from the factory. Honestly I think it should be illegal for dealers to do that shit. But people think there is oil or some form of slick stuff on the tires from the factory that has to be scrubbed which there isn’t.
